I loved brewing and drinking this tea! It has a cinnamon smell and it tasted kind of bland to me without something sweet in it so I always added one packet of 100% Organic Stevia and it was perfect. It has a light burgundy wine color once it has brewed in my cup. You can brew it as long as you want in your cup but just know the longer you keep the tea bag in your cup, the stronger the tea will be. I didn't mind it at all because I wanted to make sure that my system gets cleansed and this tea does just that! Always make sure that you are drinking your daily allowance of water. This tea is great to drink first thing in the morning but like I said earlier, I love to drink tea all day. I definitely felt more energized and cleansed! As with any lifestyle change, your diet plays a big part in you becoming healthy.
Since I have been transitioning to natural my hair gets super dry! I rely on products that will keep my hair moisturized and shiny. This is a very lightweight oil just like it states! I love oils that have multiple uses and I used this oil in my hair and on my body right after my bath or shower. It does not leave me with a greasy feel and it is not a thick type of oil. I like to use in my as a pre-poo before I use any shampoo because shampoos can be really stripping to my hair and I don't like my hair too stripped unless I am clarifying it which is once a month. I also mixed this oil with Radha's 100% Fractionated Coconut Oil which I also liked. Once or twice a month I like to do what is called an "Oil rinse" where in-between washes I just wet my hair and use the argan oil or the fractionated coconut oil as a shampoo. This makes my hair so shiny!
Another thing that I love to do is mix oils with my 100% pure certified organic Shea butter. (This product did was not purchased through Radha Beauty.) During the winter months to combat dryness, I like to mix 1 cup of Shea butter, 1/4 cup Radha Argan Oil and 1/4 cup of Radha 100% Pure Fractionated Coconut Oil. You can either put in a blender or use a hand blender and blend until smooth. This helps with my dry skin in the winter and added moisture to my hair.
Radha Argan Oil and Radha 100% Pure Fractionated Coconut Oil are both some great oils! My hair especially loves both of them! I use them separately and mixed together. Neither of the oils have an overpowering smell which is great for individuals who are sensitive to scents. Both are very lightweight so they won't weigh your hair down so these will be two oils that I will continue to use during my hair journey.
I love sipping on green tea! It just warms me up and also helps me with my weight loss journey by providing me with my water intake since I don't like to drink water. Green tea allows me to switch up my liquid intake. The two essential oils that I had the pleasure of reviewing are InstaNatural's Peppermint and Lemon Essential Oils. Each bottle holds 4 fl oz and a dropper was included for each bottle. When I received the box, I could literally smell the peppermint essential oil through the packaging! Now that is strong! That is not a bad thing for me! The bottles are glass so be careful when opening. I was really surprised at the size of the bottles because I thought that I was going to get a little sample size to review but the bottles were a nice size! The essential oil in each bottle is really potent because I could smell them and the caps were on the bottles so I took the caps off of each bottle and placed the dropper caps into each one.
InstaNatural Lemon Essential Oil
Lemon Essential Oil is extracted from the rinds of lemon, which lends
its fresh citrus fragrance. This cold-pressed oil has a strong bright
scent that is both refreshing and uplifting. Its astringent and
purifying properties also make it a great aid to help cleanse and tone
the skin, while delivering a boost of Vitamin C antioxidant benefits. I added one or two drops to my cotton ball with some witch hazel to tone my skin after I have cleansed my face. I love it! It is refreshing and gives my face such a glow before I put on my moisturizer and eye gel which are also by InstaNatural. Also, if I used this essential oil with a little water in a spray bottle and lightly mist my carpet in my bedroom or around my home after I vacuum for a refreshing scent.

These essential oils are 100% natural and steam distilled. Please make sure that you store these bottles in a cool, dark place and dilute it appropriately as it is very potent so do not use it straight out of the bottle! Essential oils work great with a carrier oil like coconut or extra virgin olive oil so please do your research thoroughly! Also, research to find other beneficial uses for these essential oils. I have now found some great essential oils and I will be going on InstaNatural's website to purchase some other essential oils!

I have tried this product for a month and a half and I have noticed a slight difference in my oral health. As you can see from the photo above, the product is in a white pill form and the pill has a minty taste. It did not leave a aftertaste in my mouth like other pills do which is a plus for me. I brush my teeth first and as per the directions on the bottle, you are to take one or two pills directly after brushing and that is exactly what I did and waited 30 minutes before I ate or drank anything. You do not have to take the pill with any water all you have to do is chew it and like that because if I had to take with water, I probably would forget to take it daily. Since it is a probiotic, it did help with my stomach issues as with any probiotic that I take. I was diagnosed with GERD so I get acid reflux frequently. One thing that I did notice that is starting to diminish is when I brush my teeth, my gums in certain areas start to bleed. I usually experience this a few times a week but now I noticed it happening less which is a plus for me. I have not noticed any whitening of my teeth and that is not to say that it won't happen over time with continuous use it won't happen. My mouth definitely felt fresher as far as my breath and my teeth feeling squeaky clean. I am not one who gets frequent ear infections, but with the change in weather being hot and cold here where I live (NC) it helped in me not getting any colds.
Would this be a product that I would continue to use? The answer is Yes! I feel that over time with continuous use, I would be able to see some of the whitening benefits but felt that one bottle was not enough to judge that benefit. I like that it does help calm my stomach acid even though its main purpose is to help with your oral health. I love the mint taste which make it easy to take and not dread chewing it.

The Dead Sea Mud Mask is a detoxifier and a purifier that pulls impurities from the skin like excess oil and dirt to reveal glowing skin. It is great to expunge acne, pimples and blackheads. It also helps to
restore an even skin tone for a smoother complexion. When used as a body
treatment, the mud mask can soothe and relieve muscles aches and pains but I just used it on my face. In opening the jar, it does look mud and did not have a smell to me at all. As per the directions. you put on a thin layer (watching out for the eyes and lip area) and let it dry for 10-15 minutes. As the mud mask dried, my skin got really tight! That sort of let me know that it was working on drawing out those nasty impurities! After it dried, I took some warm water and a clean washcloth and used circular motion to remove the mud mask from my skin. It was fairly easy to remove and I just patted my skin dry. My skin felt soft and looked radiant! I put my usual moisturizer on because with any cleanser, you need to moisturize. You are only required to use this product once a week and it states that on the jar. I set aside one day a week as my "me time" spa day where I just pamper myself and this product has been added to my regimen! As with any product, too much can cause problems so once a week is more than sufficient to use this product. This product did not break-out my skin or irritated my skin at all. This would be a great product to use in your at home spa regimen for your "me time" or with your girls!
I love to be able to have my hair act right when I need it to. I started my hair journey on January 12, 2014 to transition from relaxers to my natural curls. I have been in the market for a conditioner that makes my hair not only soft but moisturizes as well. I have now found that product! When you are transitioning from relaxers, your new growth is much thicker than your relaxed ends if you decide not to do a BC (Big Chop). I decided that I did not want to do a BC and do a long time transition but couldn't find a good enough conditioner that my hair would respond to. Until now! I had the opportunity to try out a few of their products for my honest review and the products that were sent to me was the Insta Natural Superior Hydration Argan Oil Hair Mask (8 oz), Insta Natural 100% Pure Certified Organic Argan Oil (4 oz), and Insta Natural Age-Defying Skin Clearing Serum (1 oz). I love them all!
Insta Natural Superior Hydration Argan Oil Hair Mask is a hair mask that can be used as a deep conditioner and a regular conditioner. It simply has 5 (yes 5) key ingredients: Argan Oil, Amino Acid Complex, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, and Vitamin B5. This intensive blend full of organic ingredients also serves to
strengthen hair to defend against heat damage and other external
aggressors. I decided to use it as a deep conditioner. As per the directions, you are to use it on damp, clean hair and leave on between 5-15 minutes. I decided leave it in overnight for a really deep conditioning of my hair. A little goes a long way when you just finger it through your hair
strands and place a plastic cap so that your body's natural heat can
warm up the mask. I rinsed it out the next morning and then I used the Insta Natural 100% Certified Organic Argan Oil to add some shine to my hair, and styled my hair as usual. I was really surprised at how easy it was to comb through my hair with less breakage and tangles of my relaxed ends because that is my biggest issue! The smell of the Insta Natural Superior Hydration Argan Oil Hair Mask is not overpowering and it sort of smells like a mixture of oranges and chocolate. Which I liked because I am not a fan of products that have an overpowering smell or don't smell good at all!
The second product that I had the pleasure of trying was the Insta Natural 100% Pure Certified Organic Argan Oil. This oil is virgin and cold pressed. I love that it is pure and organic because I don't like to put anything in my hair or body that is not pure and organic. To me, it doesn't really have a smell. It is not too thick and along with putting on my damp hair, I also used it on my body as soon as I got out of the shower before I dried off. It didn't leave me greasy and left my skin smooth and soft. I like to add my favorite scented lotion or body butter on top of my oil for extra moisture.
The last product that I had the pleasure of trying was the Insta Natural Age-Defying Skin Clearing Serum. Its use is for flawless and youthful skin. This product has 20% Vitamin C, 3.5% Niacinamide, 2.5% Retinol, and 2% Salicylic Acid. I like the smell because it smells like oranges. I use this serum in the morning and at night before I go to bed. I cleanse my face and then I use a toner. After my face has dried from the toner, I put about 10 drops (serum has a liquid dropper) in the palm of my hand and rub together and I just pat it into my skin and neck. I follow it up with my normal face moisturizer as per the directions on the bottle. I have noticed that my skin is looking brighter but haven't noticed any clearing of some dark spots that are on my neck but I have only been using this product for a little while but I definitely notice the brightness of my facial skin.
I personally am in love with all three of these products and definitely will be repurchasing these items because they are now my new staples in my beauty regimen. We as women take pride in having a great hair day so the products and tools that we use are so essential in us creating that awesome look! When I was chosen as one of *Remington's First Look product testers, I was more than willing to jump at the chance because I love their products! The product that caught my attention that I really wanted to try was the T|Studio Pink Silk Setter. There are 20 separate rollers that you place on the steel burners that are in the storage case. The curlers are black with velvet and they have hot pink clips to hold your hair in place.
Now we really don't have a lot of time in the mornings to spend on our hair if we are pressed for time! So the Remington T|Studio Pink Silk Setter is perfect to get that perfect curl in minutes instead of sleeping in rollers all night. When you wake up, just plug into a standard wall socket and as per the instructions, it takes 90 seconds to heat up but for maximum curl, let it heat between 3-5 minutes and boy does it get hot! Be careful as will any tool that is heated and keep away from curious children! Once it has fully heated, roll your hair in desired style and place on your makeup or get dressed. If you want a looser curl, leave the rollers in for a short time, for a tighter curl, leave in longer. After the desired time has passed, remove the curlers and you have a great curl and style you hair the way you want! Just that simple! An easy, fast way to obtain a curl without all of the hassle. I have long, thick hair and it curled my hair beautifully! I was really impressed! I had the pleasure of receiving some *Marcelle Colour Cosmetics for review. Marcelle is a cosmetic company that is based in Canada and her products are made in Canada. She not only has color cosmetics, she also has skin care products. Her products are hypo-allergenic and perfume free. Here are some pictures of the items that I received.
I received the Marcelle Innovation BB Cream for all skin types, the Marcelle Xtension Plus Mascara, the Marcelle Monochromatic Bronzer, and the Marcelle Lux Gloss Creme in the color (40) Angel. Let me just say that I loved each one of these products! At first, I was a little concerned about the BB Creme and Bronzer matching my skin tone because it is so hard to find these products for my particular skin tone but I did not have to worry at all! The first product that I am going to talk about is the Marcelle Innovation BB Creme.
Marcelle Innovation BB Cream Golden Glow
This BB Cream went on smooth with my flat foundation brush and I used a primer underneath. The coverage was smooth and it just seemed to melt into my skin! The product says that it is for all skin types, is hypo-allergenic, and offers 8 in 1 multiple benefits like:
1. Providing a healthy glow with the right illumination
2. Evens out skin tone
3. Offers immediate and long-term hydrating benefits
4.Protects from premature aging and environmental stresses
5. Promotes skin regeneration
6. Soothes and calms
7. Reduces the appearance of imperfection
8. Controls shine
I am sold because it matched my skin tone perfectly! The product also says that it is a skin enhancer and can replace some products like a lightweight moisturizer, tinted corrector, and a make-up base. I chose to wear a face primer because it is just simple a habit of mine but it did not take away from the benefits of the product. I have combination skin and am oily in my T-zone and usually by the afternoon, I am looking like a grease ball! But when I checked on my face that afternoon, I did not have to use any of my oil blotting sheets! I was thankful for that! This will be a BB Cream that I will continue using. The next product I had the pleasure of trying is the Marcelle Xtension Plus Mascara.

I love big, long lashes! I do not like when I wear a mascara and by the end of the day I see flakes of my mascara underneath my eye! I like a mascara to lengthen my lashes to enhance the appearance of my eyes. I got this with this mascara! The brush was not too big and just the right size for me to get my small bottom eyelashes. It did not clump on my lashes and cover each lash nicely. This mascara made my eyes pop and I loved it! It didn't make my lashes feel too heavy but it did add more curl to my lashes which already have a natural curl. I will continue to use this mascara! The next item that I had the pleasure of evaluating is the Marcelle Monocromatic Bronzer.

This bronzer complimented my skin tone perfectly! It has a matte finish and I used it all over my face to give it a natural radiance. This product says that it evens out skin tone and absorbs excess sebum (oil). Again, like the BB Creme, I did not notice a shine at all at the end of the day and my face just as well put on when I did it that morning. Last but certainly not least my last product that I had the pleasure of evaluating is the Marcelle Lux Lip Gloss Creme in the color Angel (40).

I love lip gloss!All colors and all types of shine! It just puts the finishing touches to a nice make-up look! This gloss was not too bright but you did notice that it was there! The brush glided on my lips smoothly adding a touch of light pink shine that lasted pretty much all day! Even through drinking cups of water I did not reapply once and I still had shine! This would be a great everyday gloss or to use it to add shine to a matte pink color! Another product that I will continue using! Here is a photo of me with each of the products on with some added eyeshadow that is not a Marcelle product.
With evaluating all of these products, I was extremely satisfied with each item and loved each one so much that I will be purchasing more of Marcelle cosmetics in the future! Having good, healthy hair is every women's dream. I know growing up, I always wanted long, flowing hair! So when I got old enough to put a relaxer in my hair, I jumped at the chance. I haven't used it on any other parts of my body like the product suggests because I am really satisfied with using it on my lips. I have found a new staple make-up item to add to my collection!

Haven't posted in a while but have been dealing with the anniversary of my husband's death. May 28, 2013 made a year since he has been gone and it is never easy for me when I think of how much he meant to me. Still trying to get my peace from it and it just isn't coming fast enough but maybe through more time, it will. Time does heal all wounds so I am grateful for the strength of my friends and family who continue to keep me encouraged. If you are dealing with a loss of a loved one I just want to encourage you that no matter what, you will get through it. In due time, the tears will stop flowing and you will remember them with smiles and laughter. I am still in the tears phase but also some smiles and laughter as well. Always remember the good times and please don't stop living because that is not what they would have wanted for you. Just wanted to encourage someone with these words. Be blessed!

I was excited to be given this opportunity to try this product myself and provide my views on it. As you all know, their are a lot of B.B. Creams on the market and it is hard to chose which one is right for your skintone. Like, some of you, I was kind of skeptical about trying a B.B. Cream, but said to myself, "I gotta start somewhere"! When the opportunity presented itself for me to try this product, I said, "Why not!" I love trying new products and felt that L'OREAL would be the perfect product for me! The product is infused with skincare ingredients like Panthenol, Vitamin E and Glycerin for 24-hour moisturization.
Now a little bit about this new B.B. Cream from L'OREAL Paris. It has four (4) beautifying actions in this one cream which (1) Primes, (2) Perfects (3) Hydrates, and (4) Corrects. That's a lot of benefits for me to put to the test! I have combination skin which my T-Zones are oily and I have large pores on my cheeks and nose. So this B.B. Cream would really have to live up to it's name of being a "Magic Skin Beautifier". It is not a large bottle which is good for me because I don't like bottles that take up a lot of room on my bathroom shelf. You simply dot on and blend with fingertips. The self-adjusting beads will instantly transform and blend to your skin tone. Pretty straight forward and to the point right? Well, it delivered everything that it states and I was really amazed. It blended very well with my skintone and left my skin looking beautiful to where as you did not even see the oil in my T-Zones at all all day! How is that for 24-hour moisturization!
